WHILE THEY SAT BY THE WINDOW

Young children who grow up without the presence of their biological father often do so as a result of death, separation/ divorce, abandonment, acts of violence, and downright rejection. While this list seems to be comprehensive, there are children who know their fathers and are reared by them but find themselves emotionally rejected as fathers became workaholics, alcoholics, or brutal disciplinarians. These various types of absences in a child’s life often have severe life altering consequences that manifest in a multitude of ways. Having a healthy socio-psychological/ emotional developmental path in the beginning stages of life require some measure of healthy paternal role modeling.
