With over 20 years of cross-sector experience, Lakweshia brings deep expertise in crisis management, leadership development, program design, and organizational growth. Her work has supported industry giants including Walmart, Bank of America, the Chan Zuckerberg Institute, Shure, and the American Medical Association. To date, she has helped secure over $37 million in public and private funding to advance educational and community-centered initiatives. Lakweshia is deeply rooted in service and philanthropy. She is a Chaplain for the Chattanooga Police Department, an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ, the co-founder of the Sankofa Fund for Civic Engagement, and a sought-after educator certified in multiple leadership and trauma-informed frameworks including John Maxwell Leadership, David Kessler Grief Education, Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead, and Stanford’s Design Thinking.
